Welcome to the 1st UX@UM conference which will be held at the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor campus. The objective of User Experience in University of Michigan (UX@UM) conference is to facilitate a discussion among our research community around user experience.
Introduction: The conference is meant to be an interdisciplinary event hosting at the University of Michigan. Researchers, faculty and students in the areas such as DATL, School of Information, Visual/Graphic Design, and Psychology are encouraged to share their ideas, approaches, prototypes, methodologies and experiences in user experience and design. We aim to discuss latest topics regarding user experience and how modern user experience has been transforming computer-assisted technology and applications and revolutionizing the experience using technology.

Virtual Conference Notice: UX@UM also offers virtual conference format. This is to best facilitate attendance and full participation from those unable to travel due to the COVID-19 pandemic. We will have a number of active, participatory events during the conference to keep virtual attendees engaged! In-person attendees to UX@UM are strongly encouraged to attend conference at the University of Michigan, School of Education!
